Graduation is a difficult concept to swallow. We are traveling into the unknown: the future. We, the class of 2015, are leaving behind the school and community we grew to love, and yet, we all have tears of joy.

This is because, although it is hard to leave, new opportunities and memories await. The end of high school signifies the true beginning of our lives.

Whether you’re heading to college, career training or countless other possibilities, everything is changing. We are saying goodbye to our beloved teachers, peers and friends, but saying hello to the exciting lives ahead of us.

But before this letter ends, some credit is due.

First and foremost, I would like to give a huge thank you to our lovely sponsor, Mrs. Szafranski, who took over and provided her help when we needed her. She has taught us so much and held our class together with endless positivity and organization. I also need to thank the wonderful staff of the Tom-Tom, for providing your talent and creativity to our publication. Thank you to the other section editors of the Tom-Tom. We have been through a lot of ups and downs throughout the past two years, yet we stuck together through it all. I definitely wouldn’t have been able to keep the Tom-Tom running smoothly without all of you. Another thank you is warranted for our former sponsor, mentor and friend, Mr. Clark. We miss you. And the biggest thank you of all goes to the dedicated readers of the Tom-Tom, who have provided their support. Without you, none of this could have been possible.

So, for the seniors at Graduation, embrace this unknown. Reach out and get excited for the imminent future. Look to new horizons with a smile.
